TIP Foundations

Overview

The TIP Foundations Training is a step-by-step introduction to the Trauma Integration Protocol™—a structured, somatically grounded, and deeply relational method for resolving trauma by activating the autonomic pathways the body uses to naturally discharge traumatic charge. Built for psychotherapists, somatic practitioners, and guides working with non-ordinary states of consciousness, this 10-week training blends neuroscience, attachment theory, memory systems, and systems thinking into a cohesive healing framework.

Each week covers a specific phase of the protocol, with educational content, live discussion, and optional practice pods for peer-to-peer application and integration. Participants gain practical tools for regulating the nervous system, tracking autonomic states, and supporting post-traumatic sequencing to resolve the energetic impact of stress and trauma.

“The TIP Foundations Training is a valuable foundational course for any therapist who works with trauma—which is every therapist. For therapists offering psychedelic-assisted therapy, this course is a ‘must have.’”

About the
Training

The TIP Foundations Training introduces participants to the core phases, principles, and practices of the Trauma Integration Protocol™—a precise, teachable, and somatically grounded approach to trauma resolution. Designed for mental health professionals, somatic therapists, and psychedelic-assisted therapy providers, this training explores how trauma is stored in the nervous system and how it can be safely resolved through body-based processes.

Rather than relying on insight alone, TIP works directly with the autonomic nervous system to access and discharge the physiological charge of trauma. The training weaves together key concepts from affective neuroscience, attachment theory, memory systems, and systems thinking to build a coherent understanding of how trauma functions—and how to interrupt its cycles and restore regulation.

Each week introduces a phase of the TIP model through live teaching, discussion, and optional peer-to-peer practice. Participants are encouraged to begin integrating what they learn right away. The training offers tools and frameworks that can be used immediately in both clinical and somatic healing work.

Key Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the five major autonomic nervous system stress and trauma states and their symptoms

  • Learn how to work through the autonomic nervous system to resolve stress and trauma symptoms using Containment

  • Understand how psychedelic-induced altered states of consciousness combine with somatic processing for effective accelerated resolution

  • Learn to navigate the major downsides of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy

  • Become acquainted with the transferential roles from repeated, familial trauma that are essential to working with complex PTSD
