The TIP Transference Training helps clinicians understand how relational trauma can reappear in the therapeutic relationship. The training has a distinctive focus on four interconnected roles within relational trauma: Victim, Bystander, Perpetrator, and Savior. Clinicians learn to recognize how clients and therapists can be pulled into these roles, identify their own automatic reactions, and develop greater freedom in how they respond. Learning is experiential, with trainer demonstrations, structured exercises, and guided practice that help expand the therapist’s capacity to remain connected while holding the full relational pattern. The value is greater clarity and choice in difficult clinical moments. Five days of in-person learning are followed by ten live online modules over five months, allowing participants to deepen the work and apply it in practice.

Registration Deadline: September 30, 2026

“This course introduced me to a coherent, science and theory based model to facilitate true healing. Both the skills we were taught and the theory behind them have already profoundly affected and improved my practice. And, it helped me recognize remaining wounds needing attention and grasping better what that attention needs to be for my own continued healing journey.”

The Trauma Integration Protocol Manual

Newly updated for 2026. This book is a guide for psychotherapists who work with the impact of traumatic events on individuals and their relationships. It draws on the work of many traditions and experts and is grounded, when possible, in our growing understanding of the brain and the mind. Written as a self-help and skill-building tool for therapists, this manual exists to build one’s ability to stay in rapport with others and to be able to better relate to them.

A recommended resource for all TIP training courses, this manual aids both practitioners and clients in their journey to resolve trauma and its symptoms.
